Hyundai has taken the wraps off the 2016 Accent.

Set to arrive at U.S. dealerships later this month, the 2016 Accent features a number of minor changes since the model received a facelift last year.  Hyundai was surprising coy on specifics but confirmed there are "some packaging updates" as well as a more logical naming structure which sees the Accent GLS being renamed the Accent SE Sedan and the Accent GS being called the Accent SE / Sport Hatchback.

Power is provided by a 1.6-liter GDI four-cylinder engine that produces 137 bhp (102 kW) and 123 lb-ft (166 Nm) of torque. It can be connected to either a six-speed manual transmission of an optional six-speed automatic gearbox.

Pricing starts at $14,745 and excludes a delivery charge of $875.
