Honda has introduced the facelifted CR-Z in the Japan.

Set to go on sale in October, the refreshed model has a new front bumper, a revised grille and LED headlights.  The eco-friendly model also has revised side skirts, a new rear bumper and restyled 16- and 17-inch alloy wheels.

Interior changes are limited but include a push button ignition, an electronic parking brake and an upgrade audio system.

The hybridized powertrain carries over but engineers have made a number of changes to improve the CR-Z's handling and driving dynamics.  These include wider rear tires, an upgraded braking system and a retuned suspension with new springs and dampers.
