The production version of the Lada X-Ray has been caught on camera without any sort of camouflage.
Previewed by two studies in 2012 and 2014, the car comes with a design that closely echoes the X-Ray 2 concept. We noticed only a few changes, including a new graphics for the headlights, the slightly smaller wheels and the reshaped taillights.
From what we know about the X-Ray so far, it will be based on the Dacia Sandero Stepway and will be available with 1.6 and 1.8 petrol engines with 114 PS (84 kW) and 122 PS (90 kW) respectively. Standard equipment will include a front-wheel drive system and manual gearbox, while an automatic transmission and Dacia Duster-based 4x4 system will be optionally offered.
