The 2016 Hyundai Elantra has returned in a new teaser image, this time depicting the interior of the vehicle.
While the picture is not providing a clear look at the cabin, we could say the Korean company is following the ‘European’ design language of the exterior with a minimalistic interior design. Gone are most of the buttons of the current car, while the center console appears to be featuring two displays – one for the infotainment system and one for the climate control.
Rumors suggest the new Elantra will feature front and rear heated seats, two USB ports and Infiniti audio system as an optional equipment. The infotainment system is expected to support both Android Auto and Apple Car Play.
In terms of safety features, the car will come with an automatic emergency braking (with pedestrian detection), rear cross traffic alert and blind spot detection.
