Alpina has revealed the refreshed D3 Bi-Turbo in sedan and estate versions.
Based on the faceflited BMW 3-Series, the vehicle comes with only minor visual improvements. These include a new front spoiler and kidney grille, LED headlights and taillights with updated graphics and a redesigned rear apron.
The interior has gained a higher quality materials, as well as standard cruise control and park distance control.
No mechanical changes have been performed, which means power is still provided by a 3.0-liter straight six diesel engine with two turbochargers, generating 350 PS (257 kW) and 700 Nm (516 lb-ft) of torque. These figures provide a 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) acceleration of 4.6 seconds for both the sedan and the estate models. The sedan though has a higher max speed of 276 km/h (171 mph) against 274 km/h (170 mph).
The fastest from all D3 Bi-Turbo models is the Touring xDrive modification that has an all-wheel-drive and runs to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 4.5 seconds.
