BMW is working on an updated version of the M235i Racing / Racing Cup.
Recently caught undergoing testing on the Nürburgring, the updated model features a massive rear wing which should help to improve high-speed stability. Additional changes are limited but the model is also slated to receive a number of chassis and suspension tweaks.
Little else is known about the updated model but the current race car has an FIA-approved safety cell, a mechanical limited-slip rear differential and a high-performance braking system. There's also a 3.0-liter TwinPower Turbo six-cylinder engine that develops 333 PS (245 kW) and 450 Nm (331 lb-ft) of torque.
