Opel has introduced the new Karl ecoFLEX.
Looking virtually identical to the standard model, the Karl EcoFlex has a 1.0-liter Ecotec three-cylinder petrol engine that develops 75 PS (55 kW). However, the car is equipped with an engine start/stop system which enables it to return 4.1 L/100km (57.3 mpg US / 68.8 mpg UK) with CO2 emissions of 94 g/km.
The model is currently available to order and German pricing starts at €9,950.
Besides introducing the EcoFlex variant, Opel announced the Karl will be offered with OnStar and a new IntelliLink infotainment system starting this fall.
