The recently revealed all-new Mitsubishi Pajero Sport has been caught on camera parked next to its predecessor
You don’t have to be some kind of automotive expert to notice the new model is a significantly improvement over the previous one and these photos are the best proof for this fact. The 2016 Pajero Sport features what the producer calls “Dynamic Shield” front fascia with plenty of chrome trim and sweptback headlights. For comparison, its predecessor has a simple two-section radiator grille. What’s more, the side profile of the new Pajero is far more muscular and attractive, despite the slightly oversized panel from the C-pillar to the boot lid.
The design is not the only major improvement in the 2016 Pajero Sport, as the model will be offered with a 2.4-liter turbodiesel engine, mated to a 8-speed automatic gearbox. Power figures have not been disclosed yet.
Sales of the new Pajero are scheduled to kick off this fall in Thailand with more than 90 countries to follow shortly after.
