Hot on the heels of yesterday’s leak, Mercedes-AMG has released yet another teaser video with the C63 S Coupe.
This time it's a more revealing clip showing the car without any sort of disguise, so we took several screenshots to show you some of the bits and pieces of the high-performance coupe. As you will notice, the vehicle featured in the attached clip comes with carbon ceramic brakes that are optional on the sedan and wagon from where the coupe has borrowed the front end design. It sits on 19-inch black alloys teamed up with 255/35 ZR19 tires at the front, unlike the other two which have 245/35 R19 rubbers.
The rear end is obviously what sets the coupe apart compared to the sedan and aside from the different taillights which extend onto the tailgate we also notice a new bumper hosting a modified diffuser flanked by those menacing quad exhausts. There's also a glossy black spoiler lip which appears to be slightly more arched compared to the sedan as a result of the coupe's curvier trunk.
Underneath the hood it's the same twin-turbo V8 4.0-liter with 503 bhp (375 kW) and 516 lb-ft (698 Nm) of torque sent to the rear wheels through a 7-speed AMG SPEEDSHIFT MCT gearbox. This hardware setup should enable the C63 S Coupe hit 62 mph (100 km/h) from a standstill in around 3.9 seconds so it will be approximately 0.2s quicker than arch rival BMW M4 Coupe.
Mercedes-Benz will fully reveal the C63 coupes tomorrow at midnight.
