Specialized in crafting interior cabins, Carlex Design has now worked on a 1990 Mercedes-Benz G-Class (G463).

Carlex Design isn't too fond of plastics which is why in just about all of their projects they put extra work into hiding all of the visible ones. Case in point, this G-Class built in 1990 has gone through an interior makeover and now features an extensive amount of leather on just about all surfaces, including the air vents. They also installed leather pouches and applied overstitching to create a more powerful visual impact while the headliner has been wrapped around in a brown nubuck that looks a lot like velvet.

The leather and wood combo certainly suits the old school off-roader very well and as you can see the black exterior is adorned with wood-like accents to nicely integrate the vintage theme of this "perfectly maintained" G-Class of the G463 series. We don't know the price paid by the owner, but such craftsmanship certainly doesn't come cheap as the attention to detail is simply staggering.
