Mercedes-AMG has released several new teaser images of the C63 Coupe.
Set to debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show, the C63 Coupe follows in the footsteps of the sedan as it features aggressive front fascia, a sporty rear bumper and a four-tailpipe exhaust system. The model also features door mounted mirrors and lightweight alloy wheels which are backed up by a high-performance braking system.
Power will be provided by a twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8 engine that develops 469 bhp (349 kW) and 479 lb-ft (648 Nm) of torque. It will be paired to a seven-speed AMG SPEEDSHIFT MCT transmission which should enable the model to accelerate from 0-60 mph in approximately four seconds before hitting an electronically-limited top speed of 155 mph (250 km/h).
If that's not fast enough, there will likely be a high-performance S variant with an upgraded engine that develops 503 bhp (375 kW) and 516 lb-ft (698 Nm) of torque. It should enable the model to run from 0-60 mph in roughly 3.9 seconds before hitting an electronically-limited top speed of 180 mph (289 km/h).
