Our spies have sent us what could possibly be one of the last batches of images with a camouflaged Rolls-Royce Dawn prototype as the model will debut next month at the Frankfurt Motor Show.

Looking virtually production-ready, the open-top Wraith will look a lot like its fixed roof sibling but will obviously lose the metal roof in favor of a fabric roof which will be offered in several hues, including black and this light grey finish which makes the Dawn stand out even more. This body style change will have an impact on the car's weight which is expected to increase a little bit, thus having a minor negative impact on the car's performances.

The twin-turbo V12 6.6-liter engine will be carried over from the Wraith and will develop the same 624 bhp (465 kW) and 591 lb-ft (800 Nm) of torque and this should be enough for a 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) sprint in an estimated 4.6 seconds since the coupe needs 4.4 seconds.

Following its public introduction at the Frankfurt Motor Show, the Rolls-Royce Dawn will go on sale early 2016.
