The German tuners at Lightweight are among the first to take a stab at modifying the BMW X4.

Their weapon of choice was the top-diesel X4 xDrive35d which has received a full frozen grey body wrap that obviously mimics BMW Individual's color available on select models. Carbon fiber was used for making the front spoiler, side mirror caps, rear apron insert and also for the rear spoiler while the stock wheels were eliminated to make room for a chunky 21-inch set shod in  245/35 front and 265/30 rear Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires. Rounding off the visual changes is the 30mm lowered ride height thanks to Bilstein's spring kit.

Stepping inside the cabin, Lightweight applied a black Alcantara theme with double contrast stitching on the center console while the tuner's logo has been embroidered on the velour floor mats. Other goodies include an aluminum pedal set and a bespoke auxiliary display which has replaced the central-left air vent.

As for the engine, the 6-cylinder, 3.0-liter turbodiesel engine no longer produces 313 PS (230 kW) and 630 Nm (464 lb-ft) of torque as it has been massaged to push out 365 PS (268 kW) and 690 Nm (509 lb-ft) to both axles. If that's not enough, a stage 2 program will bump output even further to 375 PS (276 kW) and 700 Nm (517 lb-ft) which will be enough for a 174 mph (280 km/h) top speed.

This particular vehicle is on sale and Lightweight is asking a cool €88,000 which is considerably more than the standard X4 xDrive35d that costs €60,900 in Germany.
