The 2017 Audi A5 Coupe has been caught on video undergoing testing at the Nürburgring.

Looking instantly recognizable, the redesigned coupe follows in the footsteps of its predecessor as it features a familiar design with a prominent grille and sweptback headlights. Moving further back, we can see door-mounted mirrors, a sporty roof and a short trunk with an integrated spoiler.

Like the A4, the A5 will ride on the MLB Evo platform and weigh approximately 100 kg (220 lbs) less than its predecessor.  Engine options will also carryover from the A4 so expect a variety of different petrol and diesel options including a 2.0-liter TFSI four-cylinder that develops 190 PS (140 kW) and 320 Nm (236 lb-ft) of torque.
