Ford has announced the one-off Mustang Apollo Edition has been sold for $230,000.
While that is nearly $200,000 more than the Mustang GT which it is based on, the Apollo Edition has a unique black and white exterior with a carbon fiber front splitter, a rear diffuser and LED underbody lights. The car also has a sport-tuned suspension, NASA-themed graphics and 21-inch Forgiato wheels which are backed up by six-piston Brembo brakes.
Moving on to the interior, there's black leather sport seats, special sill plates and revised instrumentation. The rear seat has also been replaced by a leather cover that features patches from the various Apollo missions.
Power is provided by a 5.0-liter V8 engine that has been equipped with a Ford Performance supercharger and a sports exhaust system. This enables it to produce 627 bhp (467 kW) and 540 lb-ft (731 Nm) of torque.
