A couple of 2016 Porsche Panamera prototypes have been spied undergoing testing in Europe.

While we've already see the car on numerous occasions, the latest spy photos give us a pretty good glimpse of the interior.  As you can see, the redesigned model has a new center console with revised switchgear and a new shifter.  We can also see an evolutionary dashboard and a stylish steering wheel with metallic accents.

The interior door trim is also evolutionary but they feature new door handles as well as metallic strips that are mounted on top of the wood trim.

Porsche has been tight-lipped about specifications but the 2016 Panamera is expected to ride on the MSB platform that uses a combination of aluminum and high-strength steel.   This could enable the model to weigh up to 200 lbs (91 kg) less than its predecessor.

The car is also slated to feature new V6 and V8 engines which should be more powerful and more fuel efficient than their predecessors.
