German tuner performmaster has released a power boost package for the Mercedes-Benz CLA 45 AMG Shooting Brake.
Mercedes-Benz's most recent update for its smallest shooting brake has bumped output of the four-cylinder, 2.0-liter turbocharged gasoline engine to 381 PS (280 kW) and 475 Nm (351 lb-ft), but performmaster has a solution for those who want even more power. The in-house developed PEC tuning module will increase the output numbers to 410 PS (302 kW) and a maximum torque of 530 Nm (391 lb-ft). Needless to say, this power kit is also available for the A 45 AMG, CLA 45 AMG and the GLA 45 AMG.
Aside from making the engine more powerful, the tuners at performmaster have also lifted the electronic top speed limiter and now the CLA 45 AMG Shooting Brake is capable of hitting 174 mph (280 km/h), up from the series 155 mph (250 km/h).
The tuning module is offered with a 2-year or 100,000 km warranty in Europe and performmaster mentions they are also selling similar packages for a wide variety of models from Mercedes-AMG's range, including the CLS 63, E 63, S 63, GLE 63, GL 63, G 63 and the AMG GT & AMG GT S duo.
