Startech has introduced their new Land Rover Defender Sixty8.

Described as a "farewell to the legendary off-road icon," the Sixty8 is based on the Defender 110 Station Wagon and features a Corris Grey Metallic exterior with a Santorini Black roof.  The model also has LED headlights, extended fender flares and tubular side steps.  Other highlights include an aluminum skid plate, tinted rear windows and 18-inch Monostar D alloy wheels with BF Goodrich All-Terrain A/T off-road tires.

The unique styling continues in the cabin as there's heated front sport seats, a sport steering wheel and an aluminum gear knob.  The model also has Tan Light Brown / Ebony Black premium leather upholstery, diamond quilting and an Alpine infotainment system with GPS navigation and a rearview camera.  Other niceties include an Alcantara headliner, stainless-steel scuff plates and alloy pedals.

Power is provided by a 2.2-liter turbodiesel engine that develops 122 PS (90 kW) and 360 Nm (265 lb-ft) of torque.  It is connected to a six-speed manual transmission and a permanent all-wheel drive system.  This setup enables the model to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 15.8 seconds before hitting a top speed of 145 km/h (90 mph).

Startech is currently accepting order and production will be limited to 68 units.  Pricing starts at €67,990 for the five-seat variant, while the seven-seater retails for €69,900 (including 19% VAT).
