Several high-resolution renders depicting what could possible the real 2016 Kia Sportage have surfaced the web.

You can check out the digital illustrations at the source link below and chances are these really do show the new Sportage as the design seems to match what we have seen in the latest spy shots. If these images are legit, the new crossover adopts a sportier appearance and looks significantly different compared the outgoing model.

You will notice it has those cool ice cube LED daytime running lights inaugurated a couple of years ago in the cee'd GT and comes with aluminum front & rear underbody protection. The tiger nose grille has been redesigned and sits lower than on the current car while the sleek headlights have a sweptback layout. Things get really interesting at the back where the taillights are interconnected and create a more dynamic look. There's also a roof-mounted spoiler, a dual exhaust setup with chrome oval tips while the roof has a glossy black look.
