Subaru has introduced a series of improvements for the XV crossover

Subaru has introduced a series of improvements for the XV crossover.

Aimed to provide greater refinement and improved ride and handling, the updates include a new LCD display, dials and center console trim in the interior. Models equipped with automatic transmission get a new shifter, while the Japanese company will also offer its latest infotainment system with 7.0-inch touchscreen display.

Speaking of improved ride comfort, it comes thanks to a major retuning of the suspension. For both front and rear axles, the dampers have had their pitch rate lowered, while the coil-springs have been retuned. The steering ratio is 10% quicker than before, providing “more linear, direct and stable” handling characteristics.

The updated XV will be available on the UK market at 21,995 GBP (31,949 EUR) for the 2.0-liter petrol SE base model and at 23,995 GBP (34,432 EUR) for the 2.0-liter diesel SE variant.
