The green hell has struck again as a Bentley Bentayga prototype has broken down on the Nürburgring.

Details are limited but our spy photographer says the prototype began experience problems and was forced to pullover at the "Steilstrecke" where it was soon joined by a safety car.  After some trouble shooting, the engineers were able to restart the crossover and finish their lap - albeit slowly.

While the breakdown is a tad embarrassing, the Bentayga will have an impressive combination of luxury and performance including a new twin-turbo 6.0-liter W12 TSI that produces 608 PS (600 bhp / 447 kW) and 900 Nm (663 lb-ft) of torque.
