Honda CEO Takahiro Hachigo has revealed some new details about the company's future product lineup.

In a speech, the executive said the next-generation Accord and CR-V will become "more attractive vehicles that feature more new technologies, higher competitiveness and innovative designs."

Hachigo also confirmed the company will better utilize regional production capacity to align it will their global production demand.  As part of this, the next-generation CR-V will be built in Canada and exported to Europe, while the next-generation Civic five-door hatchback while be built in Europe and supplied to various other regions.

Last but not least, Hachigo said the company will try to launch their new fuel-cell vehicle in Japan by March 31, 2016
