If you're dying to get behind the wheel of the 2016 Mazda MX-5, your wait is almost over as the first batch of cars have arrived on U.S. soil.

Set to arrive at dealerships within the "next several weeks," the 2016 MX-5 Launch Edition features a Soul Red exterior with adaptive LED headlights and 17-inch alloy wheels with a bright finish.  The model also has heated leather seats, an automatic climate control system, a Bose audio system and a MAZDA CONNECT infotainment system.

Like all US-spec MX-5's, the Launch Edition is powered by a 2.0-liter SKYACTIV engine that produces 155 bhp (115 kW) and 148 lb-ft (200 Nm) of torque.  It can be paired to either a six-speed manual or an optional six-speed automatic transmission.
