McLaren CEO Mike Flewitt has confirmed plans to introduce an assortment of new hybrid models.

Speaking to Auto Express, Flewitt said he expects at least half of the company's lineup will hybridized within ten years.  He went on to say he'd hybridize the entire lineup "if I could get the cost and weight right" because "our strategy is to use technology to produce the best driving cars.”

Flewitt declined to say when the next hybrid model will arrive but confirmed plans for a new Ultimate Series model that will slot above the 650S.  Little is known about it but the executive hinted it would cost approximately £400,000 ($631,180 / €564,220).
