A Mazda 767B race car from 1989 has been crashed during the Goodwood Festival of Speed.

The rotary engine-powered machine was performing a timed lap with Seniji Hoshino behind the steering wheel when the accident happened. Luckily, he managed to escape the race car with only minor injuries and was able to walk away from the crash.

Hoshino was driving chassis 001 of the car that scored a win in the GTP class of the 1989 24 Hours of Le Mans. The Mazda suffered major damage, as you can see in the attached photos.
