The mildly facelifted Opel Mokka has returned in a second batch of spy shots ahead of next year's market launch.

It was only last week when our spies caught on camera the Buick Encore facelift and now its German sibling has been spotted stretching on public roads and hiding the front end. Cosmetic revisions will be modest at best as the subcompact crossover is bound to receive a lightly modified grille, bumper and headlights to bring them in line with Opel's latest design language.

Details about engine changes are not available at this point, but we assume there's going to be an Astra K-sourced three-cylinder 1.0-liter turbo gasoline unit made entirely producing 105 PS (77 kW). Also from the compact hatchback it should gain the beefier 1.4-liter turbo which in the new Astra will be offered in two states of tune: 125 PS (92 kW) and 150 PS (110 kW).

Opel/Vauxhall will launch the Mokka facelift most likely in the first half of 2016.
