Lotus has published another teaser image for what is believed to be the 3-Eleven scheduled to debut at the 2015 Goodwood Festival of Speed.

Based on what we can see from this single teaser pic, the new Lotus model will look properly aggressive with some massive air vents and a prominent carbon fiber splitter. It will be loosely based on the Exige S so expect a Toyota-derived V6 3.5-liter engine tuned to deliver somewhere in the region of 420 bhp (313 kW).

With an estimated weight of less than 800 kg (1,763 lbs), the Lotus 3-Eleven should be a truly fast machine and word on the street says it will it 60 mph (96 km/h) in around 3 seconds and top out at more than 180 mph (290 km/h). We've heard some voices close to Lotus saying the model has lapped the Nordschleife in just 7 minutes and 9 seconds, but we will have to wait for an official confirmation.

It will go on sale sometime in 2016 and will carry a starting price of around £70,000 ($107,695 / €95,400). More details will be released very soon as the 3-Eleven is bound to show up at Goodwood FoS this week.
