B&B Automobiltechnik has introduced their new tuning program for the Jeep Grand Cherokee 3.0 CRD.

Starting under the hood, the 3.0-liter turbodiesel six-cylinder engine can be equipped with a Stage 1 package that includes a new air intake and an optimized ECU.  Thanks to these modifications, the engine produces 295 PS (217 kW) and 640 Nm (472 lb-ft) of torque - an increase of 45 PS (33 kW) and 70 Nm (51 lb-ft).

Moving up to the Stage 2 package costs €1,950 and rewards drivers with 310 PS (228 kW) and 670 Nm (494 lb-ft) of torque - an increase of 60 PS (44 kW) and 100 Nm (73 lb-ft).  Thanks to the extra oomph, the model's top speed climbs from 203 km/h (126 mph) to 215 km/h (133 mph).

Besides the performance tweaks, customers can order a stainless steel sports exhaust system and lowering springs that reduce the ride height by 40mm.  Other options include 22-inch alloy wheels and a sound generator that has six different sound profiles including one that simulates the "baritone growl" of a V8 engine.
