Bentley has released another teaser video featuring their first ever SUV set to be called "Bentayga."
The video was recorded in Sweden and shows a couple of prototypes conducting cold-weather testing ahead of next year's launch. The cars were still heavily camouflaged so there is nothing new to report in terms of exterior design, but at least the video shows some bits and pieces of the interior which we haven't seen in the previous teaser .
For example, there's a lovely burgundy leather applied on the dashboard and on the three-spoke steering wheel which packs several buttons to ease access to some of the car's functions. With the attached teaser clip, Bentley wants to point out the Bentayga will be more than just an ultra-luxurious SUV as they say it will offer proper off-roading capabilities although we are certain not many customers will ever leave the tarmac.
Judging by the engine's soundtrack, underneath the hood of those prototypes was the newly developed twin-turbo W12 6.0-liter engine pushing out 608 PS (447 kW) and 900 Nm (663 lb-ft). The Bentayga will also be offered with a twin-turbo V8 4.0-liter gasoline engine, a V8 turbodiesel and also a plug-in hybrid arrangement.
