New details are starting to emerge about the 2016 Chevrolet Silverado as several people have confirmed it was recently shown to dealers at a meeting in Las Vegas.

New details are starting to emerge about the 2016 Chevrolet Silverado as several people have confirmed it was recently shown to dealers at a meeting in Las Vegas.

While Automotive News' sources didn't have much to say about the truck, a GM spokesperson confirmed the company is planning a series of updates for model.  That's not much to go on but previous spy photos have shown the Silverado will have a new front fascia with a revised grille, modified headlights and a new lower air intake.  We can also expect a new hood and restyled taillights.

The styling changes to the 2016 Silverado HD will be less dramatic but the model is expected to feature a new diesel engine.

The 2016 Chevrolet Silverado is expected to be introduced later this year, so stay tuned for full details.
