Opel is putting the finishing touches on a facelifted Mokka but that has stopped them from announcing a series of updates to the current model.

First and foremost, the crossover will be offered with a new 1.6-liter CDTI diesel engine that develops 110 PS (81 kW) and 300 Nm (221 lb-ft) of torque.  It enables the model to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 12.5 seconds and return 4.1 - 4.3 L/100 km.  The entry-level Mokka 1.6 CDTI will go on sale shortly and pricing starts at €24,185.

Besides the new engine, the Mokka can now be equipped with OnStar.  It offers everything from automatic crash response to a Wi-Fi hotspot.

Last but not least, there's two new exterior colors - Abalone White and True Blue metallic - and a Black Roof Edition that has a high-gloss black roof and door mirrors.
