Jaguar has announced plans to introduce their XJR Rapid Response Vehicle at the Goodwood Festival of Speed.

Created for the Bloodhound SSC project, the XJR Rapid Response Vehicle was built by Jaguar Land Rover Special Vehicle Operations and features a unique livery which features the same colors as the Bloodhound SSC.  The model also has a roll cage and special holders which carry a foam misting cylinder, a hydraulic pump, a motor and a hose.

Like the standard model, the XJR Rapid Response Vehicle has a supercharged 5.0-liter V8 engine that develops 550 PS (404 kW).  It enables the luxury sedan to accelerate from 0-60 mph in 4.4 seconds before hitting a top speed of 174 mph (280 km/h).
