The 2017 Audi S5 Coupe has been spied blitzkrieging the Nürburgring.

Looking virtually identical to its A5 counterpart, the S5 prototype is distinguished by a sporty four-tailpipe exhaust system.  Additional changes are hard to spot but the production model will undoubtedly have a number of S styling cues including sportier bumpers, a revised grille and faux aluminum mirror caps - among other things.

Engine options remain unconfirmed but the S5 is expected to feature 3.0-liter TSFI V6 engine that develops that develops up to 360 PS (264 kW).  Regardless of the final numbers, the 2017 S5 Coupe should be faster than its predecessor as the model is expected to weight about 100 kg (220 lbs) less thanks to the MLB Evo platform.
