You probably have seen your fair share of very revealing spy shots with Mercedes-Benz's new compact crossover set to replace the GLK, but nevertheless this teaser video of the all-new GLC does show more of the curvaceous design and the C-Class-sourced interior cabin. It also reveals the headlight and taillight graphics, the chromed exhaust finishers while the infotainment system shows the car featured in the clip has the optional offroad package featuring various modes such as offroad, uphill/downhill, ice and trailer.

The engines and gearboxes will be carried over from the C-Class W205 and we already know it will be up to 19% more efficient than the outgoing GLK. It's also getting the multi-chamber air suspension AIR BODY CONTROL, DYNAMIC SELECT and obviously the 4MATIC permanent all-wheel drive system.

Engineered for RHD markets as well, the new GLC is expected to spawn a fully-fledged AMG version later during its life cycle and will likely use the twin-turbo V8 4.0-liter from the C63. Mercedes-Benz will expand the GLC portfolio by adding a "coupe" version possibly as early as next year to take on the BMW X4.
