Ford has opened a new 3D printing online store.

Simply called the Ford 3D Store, the site allows customers to purchase digital images of Ford models so they can print them on their own 3D printer using whatever material they desire.

The files cost $4.99 and customers can choose from a variety of models including the Fiesta ST, Focus ST, Shelby GT350R, F-150 Raptor and the new Ford GT.  Customers without a 3D printer won't be left out either as Ford has partnered with TurboSquid to offer pre-printed 1/32nd scale models in plastic for $39 each.

In a statement, Ford Global Brand Licensing Manager Mark Bentley said “3D printing at home is a growing trend, and it makes sense for us to offer our customers a chance to make their own 3D Ford models."  He went on to say "At Ford, we’re using 3D printing every day to rapidly prototype parts, and now we want to share that fun with our fans.”
