An Audi R8 e-tron prototype has been spied undergoing testing on the Nürburgring.

Caught wearing a previous generation body, the prototype reportedly features the same powertrain as the new R8 e-tron which recently introduced at the Geneva Motor Show.  If this is correct, the model has a 92 kWh lithium-ion battery which powers two electric motors that develop 462 PS (340 kW) and 920 Nm (679 lb-ft) of torque.  This will enable the new model to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 3.9 seconds before hitting an electronically-limited top speed of 210 km/h (130 mph) or 155 mph (250 km/h) - depending on the car’s tires
