Renault has released a series of teaser images depicting the Oroch production version set to debut on June 18 at the Buenos Aires Auto Show in Argentina.

Previewed by a concept back in October 2014, the double cab pickup is based on the Duster SUV and has already been photographed in production guise while shooting an ad last month in Brazil. Renault says it's a "Sport Utility Pickup" which will benefit from "all the qualities behind the success of the Duster." They haven't revealed the vehicle's name but the one starring in the commercial carried the "Oroch" lettering at the back, thus indicating it will keep the concept's moniker.

It is not known at this point whether the Oroch will travel to Europe where it would be sold as a Dacia, but it would make sense to capitalize on the versatility of the Duster and add a more utilitarian derivative which would keep the very affordable price tag.
