A prototype of what appears to be the new Peugeot 308 GTI has been snapped completely undisguised.

The vehicle looks like the 308 GT Line, but features some new details that suggest this is indeed the most powerful production 308 GTI so far, which will likely be introduced during this year’s Goodwood Festival of Speed. We noticed new 19-inch sports alloys, red brake calipers, the slightly redesigned grilles with honeycomb mesh and twin exhaust pipes at the back.

No official details about the model are currently available but it is expected to come with a 1.6-liter turbo petrol unit that produces 270 PS (198 kW). The engine will be mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox, sending power to the front wheels.
