Bentley has announced Design Director Luc Donckerwolke has resigned from his position following a relatively short three year stint with the company.

He will be replaced by Stefan Sielaff who is currently the Head of Volkswagen Group Interior Design and Design Director at Volkswagen Design Center Potsdam.  In the past, he spent five years as Audi's Design Director and played in important role in creating various models for the four-ringed brand.

In a statement Bentley CEO Wolfgang Dürheimer said “Bentley is entering one of the most important phases in the company’s history, with significant plans for new models. With his experience, creative vision and passion for the Bentley brand Stefan Sielaff is perfectly placed to lead the design of our future models.”  Dürheimer went on to praise Donckerwolke for his "significant contribution" and wished him "all the very best for the future.”
