BMW has released a small batch of images with the 2016 X1 equipped with the optional M Sport Package and painted in Estoril Blue Metallic.
Looking like a downsized X5 M, the X1 M Sport Package makes BMW's smallest SAV appear more appealing thanks to the addition of an aerodynamic exterior package bringing more aggressive bumpers, beefier side skirts and a slightly different kidney grille. It's available with 18- or 19-inch two-tone lightweight alloy wheels and an M sport suspension lowering the ride height by 10 mm.
Stepping inside the cabin, the 2016 BMW X1 with M Sport Package has sportier seats, M leather-wrapped steering wheel, anthracite headliner and special side sills while the M logo was applied onto the footrest and shift lever. The package also includes two-zone climate control system, Estoril Blue stitching and trim, Park Distance Control rear sensors and cruise control (with braking function).
BMW is asking between €4,100 and €5,200 for the M Sport Package, depending on engine and selected trim level. Deliveries of the second generation X1 with this kit will commence sometime in November this year.
