It will be available in four trim levels (Expression+, Dynamique Nav, Dynamique S Nav and Signature Nav) and all models get standard ABS with EBD, electronic stability control (with traction & understeer control), Hill Start Assist, cruise control (with speed limiter) and six airbags.

Also standard are the gravel, dust, rain protection kits, accessory power point, trip computer, 12-volt front socket, two-way adjustable steering column and exterior temperature indicator. The base Expression+ also has front fog lights, automatic electronic parking brake, LED DRLs, front & rear electric windows, AC, tinted windows and a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system.

Upgrade to the Dynamique Nav version (from £19,695) and you get 17-inch rims, fog lights with cornering function, chrome exterior detailing, dual-zone AC, automatic headlights & wipers, extra-tinted windows, automatic door locking, hands-free keycard and the R-Link 2 infotainment system with navigation and European map included. This version also benefits from traffic sign recognition, lane departure warning and automatic headlight beam adjustment.

Dynamique S Nav (from £20,495) adds 19-inch wheels, front & rear parking sensors, leather & cloth upholstery, multi-position trunk floor, passenger seat height adjustment, electrically-adjustable and heated mirrors and a one-touch easy-folding rear bench.

As for the range-topping Signature Nav (from £21,695), this one rides on bespoke 19-inch rims and has received full LED headlights, panoramic sunroof, BOSE 8-speaker sound system (with subwoofer), Nappa-wrapped steering wheel, cloth & leather upholstery and body-colored painted front & rear skid plates, side and trunk kick plates.

In terms of engines, the Renault Kadjar can be had with a TCe 130 gasoline unit with 130 PS & 205 Nm, a dCi 110 diesel with 110 PS & 260 Nm and a dCi 130 with 130 PS & 320 Nm. Depending on engine choice, Renault is offering a six-speed manual and a dual clutch EDC sending power to the front wheels or to an optional AWD system.
