According to a recent report, Fiat Chrysler Automobiles has delayed the redesign and launch of at least 12 models in the past year.

Citing people familiar with the matter, Reuters is reporting a number of popular models have been affected including the redesigned Ram 1500 which was scheduled to be launched in mid-2017 but has now been pushed back to November 2017.

The Jeep Compass and Patriot successor, which was recently spied for the first time, has also been delayed by approximately six months.  Likewise, the redesigned Jeep Wrangler has been delayed by a couple of months.

Rear-wheel drive fans will also be disappointed to learn the redesign of the Chrysler 300, Dodge Charger and Dodge Challenger could also be pushed back to 2019 or later.

Speaking of Chrysler, it appears plans for a mid- and full-size crossover have been delayed or cancelled altogether.

While the sheer number of delays is notable, it appears Alfa Romeo's revitalization is moving ahead as sources told Reuters the company might launch some models ahead of schedule.
