The future of the Top Gear show is still unclear, but a new report is indicating it could be hosted by a different person each week.
The Independent says BBC is still considering what to do with the famous Top Gear show and there’s a chance it will be handed to a series of guest hosts, who will replace Jeremy Clarkson. More interestingly, James May and Richard Hammond have each been reportedly offered 1M GBP per year to appear on the revamped series.
“The masterplan is to reconfigure the show along the lines of the-post Angus Deayton Have I Got News For You?, with a different guest hosting each episode,” says the report. “Despite their pronouncements of loyalty to Clarkson, Hammond and May have taken the trouble not to resign in protest at his sacking.”
