BMW has announced the 2016 7-Series will be unveiled on June 10th.
Previewed back in April, the redesigned flagship sedan will have an evolutionary design with a prominent grille that is flanked by laserlight headlights. The model will also have front fender vents and slender taillights with integrated chrome trim.
BMW is keeping details under wraps but they have already confirmed the model will weigh up to 130 kg (286 lbs) less than its predecessor thanks to a "Carbon Core" body structure that uses carbon-fiber-reinforced plastic. BMW has also reveal the model will have the "latest generation" of TwinPower Turbo engines as well as a standard two-axle air suspension with automatic self-leveling. Other notable highlights include a remote parking system and an iDrive Touch Display infotainment system with gesture control technology.
