Mercedes has released new details about their involvement in Jurassic World.

Set to hit theaters next month, the movie will feature an assortment of Mercedes vehicles including the G-Class, G 63 AMG 6x6, Sprinter and Unimog.  The blockbuster will also feature the new GLE Coupe which was filmed in secrecy since the crossover hadn't been unveiled at the time.

According to Mercedes' Vice President of Marketing, Dr. Jens Thiemer, “In 1997 the Mercedes-Benz M-Class made its first official appearance in the Hollywood Blockbuster ‘The Lost World: Jurassic Park’. Today, 18 years later, another Mercedes-Benz car will debut in a significant role in the latest installment of the groundbreaking Jurassic Park series named Jurassic World: the new GLE Coupe."  The executive added, "We are delighted to continue our partnership with a multitude of Mercedes-Benz vehicles and will promote the film and our cars with many exciting global marketing activities.”

Jurassic World takes place 22 years after the events in Jurassic Park. It centers around a new amusement park which is already open and has begun conducting genetic experiments on dinosaurs. It opens on June 12th and stars Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard.
