German tuner DTE-Systems has created a power boost package for the Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG .
In its standard configuration, the V8 4.0-liter twin-turbo engine produces 476 PS (350 kW) and 650 Nm (479 lb-ft) in the C63 and 510 PS (375 kW) and 700 Nm (516 lb-ft) in the C63 S, but DTE-Systems is willing to bump these figures through a plug & play upgrade benefiting from multi-map technology. After the software wizardry is implemented, the AMG engine is boosted to 590 PS (434 kW) and 816 Nm (602 lb-ft) of torque.
There's no word about performances, but obviously the tuned version is quicker than the C63 S which runs the 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) sprint in four seconds (4.1s for wagon) and tops out at an electronically-capped 155 mph (250 km/h).
DTE-Systems says their upgrade kit comes with a full TÜV certification and comprehensive warranty and can be installed at their shop located in Recklinghausen.
