Ford has introduced some improvements for the Fiesta model in Europe.
First of all, the ECOnetic variant now returns 3.2 l/100 km (73.5 MPG) with 82 g/km of CO2 emissions with its 1.5-liter TDCi diesel engine. This is an improvement of 16 gr/km over the 2008 model.
The Fiesta Red and Black Edition versions can now be equipped with a 125 PS (92 kW) 1.0-liter EcoBoost engine and a 95 PS (70 kW) 1.5-liter TDCi unit. Until now, the special models were available only with a 140 PS (103 kW) version of the 1.0 powerplant, which from now on will be offered for the Titanium and Sport variants too.
In terms of equipment, the Fiesta Titanium gets a chromed lower grille for the front bumper, new 16-inch alloys and new seat trims. The Trend trim level receives halogen projector headlamps with integrated LED daytime running lights and leather steering wheel and handbrake.
Also, three new colors will be offered - Magnetic, Candy Red and Silver Silk, while the Sport models can be fitted with contrasting roof in Frozen White, Panther Black, Race Red or Candy Blue.E
