"Automotive manipulator" Theophilus Chin has decided to share his vision of a potential Audi RS3 Sedan.

The attached renders came to life after TC took the body of the 2014 A3 clubsport quattro concept and replaced the front and rear bumpers with the ones fitted on the RS3 Sportback commercialized in Europe. Audi has recently confirmed the RS3 will be sold in United States and according to a few reports it will be transformed into a sedan which will likely have a lot in common with these digital interpretations.

Regardless of its shape, the US-spec RS3 could go on sale for the 2016 model year and use the same 5-cylinder, 2.5-liter turbo engine developing 367 PS (270 kW) and 465 Nm (342 lb-ft) of torque. In the euro-spec RS3 the engine is matched with a 7-speed S tronic gearbox, but sources close to Audi are saying a 6-speed manual transmission is being considered for the American variant.

Quattro all-wheel drive will be standard just like on all RS models and performance figures should mirror those of the RS3 Sportback which hits 62 mph (100 km/h) in 4.3 seconds and tops out at 155 mph (250 km/h) or 174 mph (280 km/h) if you ask Audi to raise the electronic limiter.
