A camo-free near-production prototype of the 2016 Mercedes-Benz A-Class has been caught on camera.

Aside from the fresh green body paint, it's quite difficult to spot the differences the mid-cycle refresh Mercedes-Benz is implementing on its entry-level model, but upon closer inspection we do notice updated headlight graphics and a revised bumper. It rides on a set of funky-looking alloys and likely carries some minor tweaks at the back as well.

Last time we heard, Mercedes-Benz will open the order books in July before starting deliveries in September. Among the changes will be optional LED headlights, LED ambient lighting, latest infotainment system with Wi-Fi hotspot support, revised safety and assistance systems, along with an estimated 20 PS (15 kW) power bump for the range-topping A45 AMG.
