A fully camouflaged prototype of the Mercedes-AMG C63 Coupe has been spied undergoing testing ahead of next year's launch.

Compared to our previous set of spy images, the prototype spotted this time had slightly less camouflage on the bumpers which appears to be production-ready. Also noticeable on this BMW M4-rivaling prototype is a menacing quad exhaust system, black side mirror caps, mesh grille inserts and beefy brakes.

Just like its sedan and wagon counterparts, the high-end coupe will utilize a twin-turbo V8 4.0-liter engine set to be offered in two states of tune: 476 PS (350 kW) & 650 Nm (479 lb-ft) and 510 PS (375 kW) & 700 Nm (516 lb-ft) in the C63 S Coupe. Both the standard and the high specification versions will be equipped with an AMG SPEEDSHIFT 7-speed sports transmission sending the engine's power to the rear axle.

Taking into account the regular C-Class Coupe is expected to show up in the following months, the Mercedes-AMG C63 / C63 S Coupe won't be out until around mid-2016.
